That's What Brothers Do - Derekica Snake I tend to give M/M books with consistently high ratings a chance, because if all those people who love the same genre as I loved the book, then surely there must be something to it. But, sadly, I'm often bitterly disappointed. This was the case here. This book fell so far short of my expectations that I've gone past not really liking it to actively hating it. I won't go into the plot in any great detail, but let's just say if I were the FBI, I'd be pretty suspicious of the author. All of the characters were tremendously unlikable, even the main guy (who, for me, had the personality of a wet sock, if wet socks could be obnoxiously selfless martyrs). The writing was pretty wooden, too. So, I'm not sure if the awful subject matter was what drew readers or what, but I think it's safe to say that I did not like this book.
